The Estevan Elks will host some special football-themed activities on September 25.
Legendary Saskatchewan Roughriders offensive lineman Roger Aldag is tentatively scheduled to be at the Elks that day. Aldag will meet with fans and sign autographs.
Aldag was a five-time CFL all-star. His No. 44 has been retired by the Roughriders. He was inducted into the CFL’s Hall of Fame in 2002.
The event will start at 2 p.m. There will be a barbecue and raffles. The game between the Roughriders and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will be shown, starting at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5, and can be purchased in advance.
