The Estevan Showcase business expo is nearly sold out, according to Carol Gress, who is on the committee for the event that will take place from September 24 to 26.
Four of 92 booths inside the Lignite Miners Centre remain. Gress said they are just waiting confirmation from exhibitors who have voiced an interest in those booths. The Showcase committee has started a wait list for those who want to be a part of the event.
Food, clothes, beauty products, kitchen supplies and other products will be available at Showcase, Gress said. There will also be representation from the restaurant, investment, photography and health care sectors, among others.
There will be a mix between new exhibitors and those who have been a part of Showcase in the past, Gress said. About half of the exhibitors will be from outside of Estevan. Some will be from outside of Saskatchewan.
Eight non-profit organizations will have booths inside the hallway of the Souris Valley Aquatic and Leisure Centre. And there will be five outdoor booths this year.
Gress said that volunteers are still needed for Showcase.
Hours for Showcase are from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on September 24, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on September 25 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 26.
Showcase is a project of the Estevan Lions Club, the Rotary Club of Estevan, and the Estevan and District Board of Tourism, Trade and Commerce.
