Certified Energy Services acquires service rigs from Venture Well Servicing

Leonard Brock from Certified Energy Services, Ron Wanner from Venture Well Servicing and David Odgers from Certified Energy shake hands on the sale of Venture’s service rigs.

Venture Well Servicing, which is owned and operated by Ron Wanner, has agreed to sell its service rig assets and miscellaneous well servicing equipment to Certified Energy Services.

Certified Energy is a newly formed oilfield company based in Estevan. Certified will be lead by president and general manager David Odgers and vice-president and operations manager Leonard Brock.

The company intends to retain key employees of Venture, and hopes to build and grow the business via further recruitment, and through significant investment in the purchased assets and new equipment.
