The South East Sask. Roller Derby Association (SESRDA) offered roller derby lessons during a recruiting day August 28 at the Lignite Miners Centre. Members of the association’s Hillbilly Hurt team, as well as a club out of Regina, taught the basics of the sport to about 30 people in attendance. Another recruitment day will take place on Sunday, September 12, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Lignite Miners Centre.
