Estevan Police continue to make drug-related arrests

*The Estevan Police Service arrested three adult males from B.C. on August 30 as part of an ongoing investigation into the trafficking of drugs in Estevan. All three males are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, and a charge of possessing of the proceeds of crime. One male was charged with marijuana possession, and another male was charged with mischief. Police seized cocaine that had an estimated street value of $13,600, and $4,700 in cash. All three males appeared in Estevan Provincial Court on August 31.

*Police seized a significant amount of drugs, and apprehended a pair of suspects, after they executed a search warrant on August 25 at the Estevan Trailer Court. The combined value of the drugs and cash seized was in excess of $60,000. A 36-year-old Estevan female is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, and possessing the proceeds of crime. A 32-year-old male, who is new to Estevan, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking crack cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana and possessing the proceeds of crime. Both appeared in Estevan Provincial Court on August 26.
*The Estevan Police Service is asking the public to call the police or Crime Stoppers if they suspect drug activity anywhere in the city. The information is welcomed and it will be investigated. Chief Del Block said that police need the support of the public.

*A motorist was stopped on Kensington Avenue after he left a local lounge. He was arrested and is facing charges for impaired drinking and driving while over .08. His court date is set for September 23.

*A report of uttering threats was received, and it is under investigation.

*Willful damage was reported to a school bus parked in the 1300 block of Third Street during the evening hours of August 27. A back window was smashed out while the bus was parked. The matter is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Estevan Police Service or Crime Stoppers.

*An unregistered vehicle was located on a street in the west end of Estevan. The vehicle was towed.

*A theft from a residence is under investigation.
