Police received complaints of two separate vehicles leaving a local lounge just after 2 a.m. on Thursday morning. The operators of both vehicles were reported to be impaired.
Police intercepted both vehicles, one on King Street and the other on Kensington Avenue. The King Street vehicle’s operator was found to be sober, and, in fact, was a designated driver.
The operator of the other vehicle was arrested and is facing charges for impaired driving and driving while over .08. His court date is set for September 23.
