Sixteen junior golfers participated in the annual Beat the Pro tournament August 11 at the Estevan Woodlawn Golf Course.
Woodlawn pro Brian Dueck shot a nine-hole round of 34. The juniors’ also played nine holes, and they determined their scores by subtracting their handicaps from their scores.
Two golfers managed to beat Dueck’s total. Rayna Gibson had a 31 and Dawson Nobiss had a 32. Three golfers tied Dueck’s score. Tyson Price, Chase Birkett and Dustin Doerr each had a 34.
