The Estevan Bruins and the Estevan Bruin Alumni have announced that the Alumni will be making a $40,000 donation to the help fund the building of the Bruins dressing room at Spectra Place.
“To ensure that players have the opportunity to enjoy the unique experience of playing in a hockey community like Estevan, this project was something we felt we needed to be involved in,” said alumni president Brad Pierson. “This donation represents our commitment to ensuring that the Bruin’s have a place to play for years to come, and we encourage everyone to help support this initiative.”
The dressing room is being funded entirely by community donation through individual donors and businesses. All donors will be recognized on the Bruins donor Wall of Fame located on the dressing room wall, and all donations will be used to fund the dressing room project, which will cost approximately $125,000.
The Estevan Bruins can also offer donors a tax receipt
The sponsorships range from a Diamond Supporter at more than $20,000, to a Friend of the Bruins for under $1,000. A Platinum Supporter is at least $7,500, a gold supporter is at least $3,000 and a Silver Supporter is at least $1,000.
“We are extremely pleased that our alumni have shown us such great support and are leading the community in ensuring that the Bruins have a place to call home,” said Bruins head coach/GM Karry Biette. “We are relying solely on the community to help raise funds for this project and continue to show the Bruin’s the support that Estevan is known for in hockey circles.”
