The Estevan Art Gallery and Museum’s chili cook-off is July 24

Eight teams are already confirmed for the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum’s annual Chili Cook-off on July 24.

The event will start at 4 p.m.

Body and Sole, Estevan Fire Services, Murray GM, Nelson Meats, CJ Inspections, TS&M Supply and Obviously Chic will have teams entered this year. The Estevan Art Gallery and Museum will also enter a team for the first time.

Event spokesperson Twyla Exner said they hope to attract a few more teams before the event.

Two awards will be handed out. A panel of judges will pick their favourite chili recipe for one award. And the public will be asked to vote for their favourite in the people’s choice award.

Music and beer gardens will also be part of the event.
