Estevan’s annual Showcase business expo posted a net income of $19,672, according to financial statements released during Showcase’s annual general meeting on April 27.

Each of the organizations responsible for hosting Showcase – the Estevan Lions Club, the Rotary Club of Estevan and the Estevan and District Board of Tourism, Trade and Commerce (TTC) – received $6,000.

Showcase committee member Art Beselt lauded the hard work of each organization, and the efforts of Marlene Moore, who has been the Showcase coordinator for the past two years.

This year’s Showcase will be on September 24, 25 and 26.

Directors for this year are Art Beselt, Karen Beselt, Dennis Bode, Michel Cyrenne, Cory Farden, Garth Forrester, Carol Gress, Kevin Mortenson, Dennis Moore and Ed Sinclair. The Showcase executive will be determined at a future meeting.

TTC tourism marketing coordinator Kevin D’Souza will be the coordinator for this year’s Showcase.
