The Estevan Strippers annual Spring Bust tournament concluded Sunday evening.
The Brandon North 40 won the Ray Frehlick over-45 Division. Brandon finished in a tie with the Regina Slow Shots and the Estevan Ikon Capitals with 2-1 records, but the North 40 won the tie-breaker because they surrendered the fewest goals.
The Estevan Viking 45s won the Preston Meyer Memorial Division. The 45s and the Indian Head Saints had 2-0-1 records, but the Viking 45s surrendered the fewest goals.
The Weyburn Ambassadors won the Bill Dutton Division. Weyburn and the Regina Loafers were 2-0-1, but Weyburn won the tie-breaker.
Other results were:
*The Estevan Flyers beat the Estevan Red Eyes 9-2 to win the Einar Fagerheim Memorial Division.
*The Avonlea Antiques beat the Estevan Tower Wolves in the Sherritt Coal Division Final.
*The Alameda Red Army defeated the Estevan Baxter Cougars 7-3 in the Days Inn Division.
*The Estevan Oilers beat the Estevan CEDA Sharks 5-3 in the Tap House Division final.
A total of 28 teams were entered in the seven divisions. The event is the largest old-timers hockey tournament in the province.
