The 2010 Estevan Strippers Spring Bust tournament has begun


The Estevan Flyers played the Estevan Rookies in one of the opening games of the Estevan Strippers tournament.

The puck has dropped on the Estevan Strippers 28th annual Spring Bust Tournament.

Opening games were played on April 7. Action will continue at the Civic Auditorium and the Lignite Miners Centre until April 11.

A total of 28 teams are entered in the tournament's seven divisions. Two divisions, the Ray Frehlick Division and the Preston Meyer Memorial Division – are for over-45 teams. The Bill Dutton Division is for over-40 hockey teams.

The Sherritt Coal Division, the Einar Fagerheim Memorial Division, the Days Inn Division and the Tap House Division are also part of the competition.

The Spring Bust tournament is the largest oldtimer hockey tournament in Saskatchewan.
