Hundreds of items were sold during the Rotary Club of Estevan’s annual auction March 25 at the Estevan Shoppers Mall.
Merchandise and gift certificate sales brought in $13,000. The top-selling item was a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire, which brought in $1,100.
Another $4,000 came in through cash donations.
Ninety-two people were registered for the auction.
An honourary Paul Harris Fellowship was presented to auctioneer Norm Mack. Mack has been the auctioneer at the event for many years.
The auction is Rotary’s second-largest fundraiser of the year.
Proceeds from the event will be used to support various Rotary projects in the community.
