Chuck and Albert Arsenault will be the next show in Estevan’s Koncerts for Kids series. They will perform on Friday, March 19 at 7 p.m. at Westview School.
Chuck and Albert have been performing clean, creative and interactive entertainment since 2004. They are a musical comedy team from Prince Edward Island. Fiddles, step-dancing, pantomime routines and a celebration of Acadian history are incorporated into their show.
They are bilingual, so some French will be included in the act.
Chuck and Albert are former members of the Acadian group Barachois. They performed at the Atlantic Canada pavilion during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Koncerts for Kids spokesperson Brenda Lyons said Chuck and Albert are a funny, talented duo. It’s a high-energy show that will appeal to children, but their talent, music and humour will also be good for adults, Lyons said.
Their stop in Estevan will be part of a 12-community tour of the province.
