Spencer Warriner (portraying Frank Butler) and Maya Branyik-Thornton (Annie Oakley) performed “Annie, Get Your Gun” during musical theatre.
This year's Estevan and District Music Festival is now underway.
The vocal competition was held March 7 and 8 at St. Paul’s United Church. Musical theatre entries were part of the vocal category.
Junior piano and senior piano followed the vocal division.
The music festival will also feature a wide variety of band performers, as well as speech arts entrants.
More than 600 entries were received for this year’s music festival.
The annual festival highlights program and awards night will be held on Tuesday, March 30 at the Estevan Comprehensive School.
