Building activity has been strong so far this year in Estevan.
Eight building permits were issued in January and February this year, compared to five permits in the first two months of 2009. The total value thus far for 2010 has been more than $4.4 million.
Three of the permits this year have been for multi-family projects. The total value has been about $4.165 million.
There have also been two miscellaneous permits, two commercial permits and one single-family residential permit.
