Music Festival has started

Spencer Warriner (portraying Frank Butler) and Maya Branyik-Thornton (Annie Oakley) performed “Annie, Get Your Gun” during musical theatre Sunday night.

This year's Estevan and District Music Festival is now underway.

The vocal competition started Sunday at St. Paul's United Church in Estevan, and it will continue through Monday night. Musical theatre was part of the vocal category.

Junior piano, senior piano, band and speech arts competitions are the other components of the music festival.

The annual festival highlights program and awards night will be held on Tuesday, March 30 at the Estevan Comprehensive School.
